The Chinese culture has existed for many years, and lots of celebrations are and were based off of the stories and scrolls found in the ruins of the Palaces of China.

The two main dialects of Chinese are Mandarin and Cantonese, although every city has its own accent. The most used back then in ancient China was Mandarin. One of the emperors of China simplified characters so the farmers of China could learn. The Chinese used ink created by an inkwell and some water. The brushes were made out of bamboo and horse hair.

Festivals of Ancient China
There are many cultural celebrations that the Chinese celebrated, Chinese New Year, the Autumn Festival, the moon festival, the spring festival, mid-autumn festival, and many more. The Chinese have celebrations every season. The Lantern festival, Moon festival, the Autumn festival, and Mid-Autumn festival are celebrated during September every year. The culture and rules declared that the Emperor was the only one allowed to wear yellow, because yellow meant good fortune and wealth.
The Lion Dance
The lion dances are commonly used to celebrate on festivals such as the the Mid Autumn Festival and/or to give luck, . Lion dances are also folk dance forms. Lion dances are accompanied by fire crackers and gongs. The lions may have eaten lettuce.
